Use #Emacs to fill text fields in #Firefox. All you need is the GhostText browser extension and the Atomic Chrome Emacs package.
Advantages:
- The text is kept in sync, in contrast to the edit-server package and the corresponding browser extension.
- Use a more suitable major mode, e.g. switch to markdown-mode for sites that consume Markdown (configurable per URL).
- And obviously, it’s your Emacs session with your key bindings, completions, etc.
